ANNOUNCEMENTS

Giving During COVID

Thank you so much for your continued worship of our great God through your faithful giving during this unique season. When we exclusively moved to mailed checks and online giving, you responded. Because of your sacrificial giving, we have been able to continue fully supporting our missionaries, our ministries, and our staff.

Are you new to Immanuel and wondering how to give? Please consider online giving during this season. Giving in person and giving online are both holy, but at this time, online giving will be more effective for the advance of God’s Kingdom.

New Discipleship Classes

While The Gospel of Matthew class will currently continue as scheduled through May 16th, Spiritual Gifts class will not start until April 25th and will continue through May 20th. Find class descriptions below:

Spiritual Gifts // What are spiritual gifts? Do they still continue today? What about all the abuses surrounding the spiritual gifts? Do I have a gift, and how would I know? Join Pastors Jones and Dom and have your questions answered as they unpack the biblical teaching about the spiritual gifts and their role in the local church.

The Gospel of Matthew // Matthew’s gospel records the most important event in human history—the birth, life, death, and resurrection of the Son of God, Jesus Christ, as he inaugurated God’s kingdom and established the church. Join Dan Gurtner to dive into select passages in Matthew, study Matthew’s message about Jesus, and learn how to understand the biblical genre of the gospels.

Introducing Immanuel Class

Are you looking for a community to walk the Christian life with? If so, join us for Introducing Immanuel on April 24th & May 1st, 9:30a–11:30a. Introducing Immanuel is the best way to learn about who we are as a body of believers. Interested? Register here.

*Childcare will not be provided.

Worship Ministry Intern Opportunity

Immanuel's worship ministry currently has an opening for one resident intern. The primary role would be to assist the worship pastor in carrying out Immanuel's vision and values for all aspects of corporate worship. The worship intern would need to be a member of Immanuel, live in our intern triplex (Breckinridge St.), and be able to give 10–15 hours per week to serve the worship ministry.

Interested? Please Contact Pastor Ward woung@immanuelky.org

Production/Tech Team Members Needed

Do you have experience in any of the following areas: Sound engineering, operating presentation software, live-stream production, stage set-up/production? If so, Immanuel is currently looking to build out its production team and looking for members who can serve in these areas.

If interested, please email Pastor Ward at wyoung@immanuelky.org.

Facility Care Intern Opportunity

Immanuel's beautiful facilities are a reminder of the kindness of our Lord and his love for the nations. The task of stewarding such a gift with excellence takes a team of faithful servants. The Lord has been very gracious to provide a residential internship for three Facility Care Interns.

We currently have immediate openings!

Our Facility Care Interns live in our intern triplex on Breckinridge St adjacent to the church. Their responsibilities include: weekly cleaning of the church building, routine maintenance tasks as they are able (skills not required), and other tasks as assigned.

We are looking for single men who are members of Immanuel, who are striving to grow in holiness, and have 10 to 15 hours per week to serve the body of Christ, in exchange for a place to live with awesome Christian community!

Interested? Contact Scott Stringer at facilities@immanuelky.org.

Lost & Found

Our Lost & Found closet is full of travel mugs, jackets, Bibles, and more. If you have lost an item at church, please take time this weekend to visit and grab any items that are yours. The closet is located in the main hallway behind the auditorium, close to the Guest Reception.

Resources for Families

We welcome children in our worship gatherings! We also have two helpful spaces that are equipped with a live stream to meet your child's needs and keep you connected to the service.

The Nursing Mothers' Room is found in the adult education hallway, located on Level 2 of our building. Likewise, the Cry Room can be found on Level 2 and is available for families who are having difficulty calming a child who continues to cry, fuss loudly, or scream. Please refer here for map directions to both rooms.

As we seek to best care for our Immanuel family and guests, we ask that you help us by registering for the service beforehand.
