Special Members' Meeting

On January 24th, 5:00p, we will be hosting a special members' meeting in order to deal with a church discipline situation that requires attention earlier than our next scheduled regular member's meeting. This member's meeting is for members only and will solely deal with one case of church discipline. All other church business will be handled in our next regularly scheduled members' meeting in March.
Please RSVP here for January 24th.

Neighborhood 360º Assessment

Since moving into the SoBro neighborhood in 2017, Immanuel has desired to build relationships (establish a meaningful/strong presence) within the community and better understand how we can serve those around us. This year, we will conduct an in-depth study for this purpose called “Neighborhood 360º Assessment.” This study will take place over the next 4–6 months and will be conducted by a small team of Immanuel members.

We are currently looking for someone to help build and lead this team. Could this be you? Who should volunteer to lead the team? Those gifted in:

  • Project management
  • Leadership and communications
  • Ability to synthesize various work elements and data

If you're skilled in these ways and are burdened to help Immanuel love and serve our neighbors, would you pray and consider volunteering to lead this team? If interested, please email wyoung@immanuelky.org

In Everything Give Thanks // IWM Winter Fellowship

We live in difficult times; the COVID pandemic, racial unrest, and political disunity in our country affect us all. However, for many of us, these things pale in comparison to the sufferings of our own lives. Into all of it, the Word of God speaks, calling us to thankfulness. Therefore, in light of everything that's going on, where can we find the strength to be obedient to this command? Join us Friday, February 5th, at 7pm for the Immanuel Women's Ministry Winter Fellowship. We'll fellowship, sing songs, and think together about thankfulness. We hope to see many of you there!

We will use both the Auditorium and Fellowship Hall in order to allow for physical distancing. The teaching portion of our time together will begin at 7:00pm in the Auditorium, followed by fellowship in the Fellowship Hall. Those who would like to attend the teaching time only are welcome to leave at the conclusion of the teaching.

*Masks will be required at all times, except while eating.

Resources for Families

We welcome children in our worship gatherings! We also have two helpful spaces that are equipped with a live stream to meet your child's needs and keep you connected to the service.
The Nursing Mothers' Room is found in the adult education hallway, located on Level 2 of our building. Likewise, the Cry Room can be found on Level 2 and is available for families who are having difficulty calming a child who continues to cry, fuss loudly, or scream. Please refer here for map directions to both rooms.

Worship Ministry Opportunity

Are you an experienced orchestral musician? If so, we'd love for you to consider serving with Immanuel's worship ministry. Interested in auditioning? Reach out to wyoung@immanuelky.org

Giving During COVID

Thank you so much for your continued worship of our great God through your faithful giving during this unique season. When we exclusively moved to mailed checks and online giving, you responded. Because of your sacrificial giving, we have been able to continue fully supporting our missionaries, our ministries, and our staff.

Are you new to Immanuel and wondering how to give? Please consider online giving during this season. Giving in person and giving online are both holy, but at this time, online giving will be more effective for the advance of God’s Kingdom.
