Corbin Kitzmiller was born in Columbus, Ohio, as the youngest of three boys. In his early years he was homeschooled, which meant growing up tightly knit to his two older brothers, being taught closely by his parents, and spending copious amounts of time enjoying the outdoors. His mother—a woman transformed by the gospel—had a shaping impact on his life and values. Not only did she teach him to read and write, but she discipled him through the gospel and her testimony. Largely due to her faithful witness, he was saved at a young age.
After high school, he moved to Kentucky to attend Boyce College and Southern Seminary, and at the same time, he began to attend Immanuel. The Lord used this intense season of sitting under the Word to bring conviction over sin and a greater freedom in the gospel of Christ, as well as, greater love for the people of God. During his time at Southern, he met and married his wife, Melanie, and they now have three beautiful little girls (Eliana, Constance, and Lydia). Corbin deeply loves the saints of Immanuel and longs to see them persevere until Jesus brings us home. He loves the book Pilgrims Progress, working with his hands, going for a run, sitting with friends around a campfire, and walking with his family.
