Ward Young

Ward and his family migrated north from the Louisiana Delta. Ward and his wife Heather were living for the world, chasing after all of its pleasures, and blinded to their sin when the Lord redeemed them and delivered them from their sins and set them free from sins bondage. Having cleaned them from the inside, the Lord has steadily caused them to walk in His ways for the past 2+ decades. The Lord has given them three children, Baylee (married to John Pendleton), Lydia, and Isaac. Ward serves on staff at Immanuel as a Community Discipleship Pastor. He gives much of his time and energy recruiting, supporting, training, and discipling our Gospel Community Group leaders. Ward also contributes heavily to Men's Ministry, Adult Discipleship, overseeing Immanuel's youth ministry, and handling some of our intensive counseling.
